ROAST BEEF WITH GRAVY
It's getting to be that time of year when we want warm, cozy comfort food, and this one hits the spot. This is a Kohlmeyer family favorite, and it makes for great leftovers, which, frankly, only get better tasting with each day!
2-3 lb. chuck or sirloin roast
10 oz. can diced tomatoes with peppers and onions
1 package Lipton onion soup mix
1 t. garlic powder
1 jar Heines beef gravy
Optional ingredients: carrots and potatoes
Place roast (and veggies, if using) in a crockpot
In a mixing bowl, combine next four ingredients, mix thoroughly, and pour over roast
Cook roast for 8 hours
