Over the past three decades, since graduating college, I've written for a variety of venues: newspaper, corporate marketing, magazines, blogs, devotionals. I've also done some graphic design work, designing newsletters, postcards, flyers (and now my own website).

I've also taught the Bible for more than 12 years, through Bible Study Fellowship and my home church. I've been the keynote speaker at two women's retreats.

I live outside of Chicago, with my husband of 25 years and our three children, and an erratic rescue pup. As a family, we love to travel, although that is getting harder to do as my children are growing up fast and flying the coop.

When I'm not writing, I'm reading. Suspense and historical fiction are my favorite genres. I also enjoy cross-stitching and embroidering, which my mom taught me to do when I was nine-years-old. I also love nature photography and landscaping, which usually means planting and replanting the same beds
until I'm fully satisfied with the result, much to my hubby's
chagrin (and pocketbook).
